Here is a love song recently written by Kah Loong. It’s called “I Love You (There is None Like You)”. I think it is a very touching song. Nice keyboard work too!
To quote the songwriter Kah Loong, “This song talks about a guy thinking of a girl he likes. He has not seen this girl for ages and misses this girl.”
Personally, I think this romantic song will touch the hearts of girls who listen to it. As is usual with Kah Loong’s songs, I think a single piano accompaniment does not do this song enough justice. I can imagine that if Kah Loong were to record more layers of instrumentation to it, then it would sound much better.
See Kah Loong’s blog post here for more details on this song, including the full lyrics.

I like the chord progression. The melody of the lyrics adds that sense of ‘feeling’ to the song. I felt the tempo or cadence of the lyrics was too “fixed” to the tempo, i.e. each word or syllabus was articulated to almost every beat. Perhaps adding some variation to the rhythm of the singing might improve the song overall. On the whole, it’s a nice one at it’s basic level.
