It&#039;s sombre, alright. And I&#039;m kinda overwhelmed that those years were so bleak as to make someone (Davyd) compose a song...
Hope he makes it big. 

Maybe This Year&#039;s National Day might inspire you to come up with a tune then we&#039;ll see a Mr Jeremy Yew sitting at his piano tinkling away... Haha.

The singer... is she the one who&#039;s well-known for her opera-voice? I think Central did a feature on her this year...</description>

		<description>Thanks for point this out. I didn&#039;t find this gloomy at all. In fact, right from the start, I thought the melody was one that had hope waiting to burst through, which it does at the end. The singer also made the song sound nice. Powerful vocals.</description>
