But didn't think much about it. It's sombre, alright. And I'm kinda overwhelmed that those years were so bleak as to make someone (Davyd) compose a song... Hope he makes it big. Maybe This Year's National Day might inspire you to come up with a tune then we'll see a Mr Jeremy Yew sitting at his piano tinkling away... Haha. The singer... is she the one who's well-known for her opera-voice? I think Central did a feature on her this year... I Think I remember a Little about this. But didn’t think much about it.

I didn't find this gloomy at all. In fact, right from the start, I thought the melody was one that had hope waiting to burst through, which it does at the end.
