I was quite pleasantly surprised at hearing this piece, cos it’s quite a departure from what I had come to expect from Firdaus.
To be honest, I have no idea how he came up with this, but I think it’s very good. It’s strangely intoxicating. (And I mean it in a good way.)
Excellent arrangements. Love the marimba sounds, the clever bassline, and the keyboard work.
