Event: Songcraft’s 1st Anniversary Session-cum-Celebration
Venue: Fort Canning Park (near to the Former Married Soldier’s Quarters)
Time: 7pm
Equipment Provided: Guitars, Synthesizer Keyboard, Laptop (for playing mp3s)
Ok, I guarantee that this upcoming Songcraft session will be a memorable one! (Whether it’s gonna be memorable in a positive or negative sense…I can’t say for sure, haha!)
To commemorate our 1st year anniversary of the Songcraft Songwriting Circle, the organisers and myself have chosen the lovely Fort Canning Park as our venue.
We are going back to basics for this one - Just a group of music-loving, songwriting friends gathered together in the great outdoors under the trees and the stars, sharing and making music with one another with a few guitars and stuff.
It’s gonna be great.
Feel free to invite your friends along if you like. All are welcome.
So, get your songs ready and we’ll see you all there on the 18th of April!
Is it an open-air event? Wonder how the acoustics going to be.
Hopefully there’s a pavilion available or something and that the weather be good.
Ivan: Yup, it’s kinda open-air. As in, under the trees. To be honest, I’m not exactly sure how it’s gonna turn out. Just keeping my fingers crossed!
Lingfeng: Good point. We’ll work out a wet-weather plan in case it really rains that evening. Shouldn’t be a problem! There are quite a few sheltered locations nearby.
